Summary

The court held that the Superior Court for Juvenile Matters did not lose subject matter jurisdiction merely because Matthew turned eighteen. However, the court lacked jurisdiction over Matthew's motion for services because he neither alleged nor proved that, after turning eighteen, he was enrolled full-time in one of the educational or training programs specified by the governing statute. The court therefore reversed and remanded with direction to dismiss the motion for services. Rogers, C. J., concurring, would have treated the enrollment requirement as an element of the claim rather than a jurisdictional prerequisite, while reaching the same result because Matthew failed to establish it.
