Supreme Court of Colorado
The People of the State of Colorado, Petitioner v. Richard Wesley Anderson, Respondent.
May 20, 2019442 P.3d 76
Summary
The court held that extreme indifference murder is not limited to conduct that actually endangers more than one person. It further held that the evidence, viewed in the light most favorable to the prosecution, was sufficient for a jury to find that Anderson's shooting demonstrated a willingness to take life indiscriminately and supported his conviction for attempted extreme indifference murder. The court reversed the court of appeals' judgment and remanded for consideration of unresolved assignments of error concerning that conviction.
