Summary

The Hearing Board found that Erik G. Fischer knowingly entered into business transactions with his client without making the disclosures and obtaining the written conflict consent required by Colo. RPC 1.8(a). Although the misconduct warranted a suspension, substantial mitigating factors supported a ninety-day suspension stayed during one year of probation with no further rule violations.
