Supreme Court of Arkansas
Luther X. Hall
September 16, 2021631 S.W.3d 552
Summary
The court denied Hall’s petition to reinvest jurisdiction in the trial court to consider coram nobis relief. Hall’s allegations that counsel was not appointed for four months and that appointed counsel inadequately investigated and subpoenaed witnesses were either matters known or knowable at trial or claims of ineffective assistance that should have been raised through the applicable postconviction procedure. The court concluded that the allegations did not establish an error extrinsic to the record or otherwise fall within a recognized basis for coram nobis relief.
