The court affirmed the exclusion of Ford’s seat-belt evidence, held that Ford waived its challenge to the glazing claim because the jury returned a general verdict, and upheld the punitive-damages award and the compensatory-damages amount. It reversed and remanded only because postjudgment interest could not run from the date of a nonfinal judgment, and it denied Washington’s motion to strike. Justice Goodson, joined by Justices Baker and Hart, dissented from the seat-belt ruling and would have admitted Ford’s evidence.
