Summary

The court held that the criminal division relinquished its exclusive jurisdiction when it transferred C.H.'s juvenile-defendant case to the juvenile division and therefore lacked authority to set aside that transfer. Because the set-aside order was a nullity, the Supreme Court did not acquire appellate jurisdiction and dismissed the interlocutory appeal. The opinion also concluded that the State's proper remedy would have been a timely direct appeal from the transfer order.
