Daggett v. Feeney

Summary

The Alaska Supreme Court affirmed the rulings that the wind-turbine contractor was required to register, that its breach and UCC-based recovery claims were barred while unregistered, and that the individual owners could be liable as agents of an undisclosed principal. It held that an equitable setoff was permissible but that the superior court miscalculated the amount by failing to account for the contractor's actual resale profit. The court therefore reversed in part and remanded solely for recalculation of the setoff.
